CutRun
English · Deutsch
From a paper cut list to a cutting plan — with one photo
Write your parts on the free CutRun form in the workshop. Take a photo, and CutRun types them in for you.
How it works
- Print the free form. One sheet holds 15 parts of one material: name, length, width, quantity, grain and edge banding. A4 PDF · US Letter PDF
- Fill it in by hand — one digit per box, clear numbers. Tick the grain and the edges that get banding.
- Take a photo in CutRun: Import / Export → Import parts from a photo. Lay the sheet flat with all four black corner squares in the frame.
- Check the parts. Fields that were hard to read are highlighted in yellow. Fix anything that’s wrong, add the parts and press “Calculate layout” — you get the cutting plan and a free PDF for the saw.
Good to know
- Any handwritten list works, but the CutRun form reads best: the boxes and corner marks tell CutRun exactly where each number is.
- You always check before anything is added. Nothing goes into your list until you press the button.
- Your photo is not stored. It is read once to fill in the parts and then discarded. See the Privacy Policy.
- Prefer typing? Paste rows from Excel, import a CSV, or just enter the parts in the calculator.
